I may not have on mom jeans... but I ...Amen sister! I may not have on mom jeans... but I keep asking myself when will i no longer be in maternity pants... and while i have to drag at least two kids to the store with me while i go I find myself actually WANTING to workout because... wait for it.... i am alone... i have never ran so much in my life {i am literally running away from home!} I keep telling myself in 10 years no one will want me... i also joke that C's college fund will actually be a "therapy" fund.... you are doing awesome! Such a good mama, it is hard when you care so much about your kids! You can always commiserate with me anytime!Abbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13333823891192227696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-953657751055421780.post-43057411223666354572012-09-03T04:22:41.629-07:002012-09-03T04:22:41.629-07:00It gets better. Way better. :)
I call parenting m...It gets better. Way better. :)<br /><br />I call parenting more than one child 'voluntary schizophrenia.'<br /><br />Yes, the early years are like that. You spend the whole time (at least mentally) apologizing to your child and/or children for not being the awesome mama you thought you'd be.<br /><br />But at some point all that hard (hard, hard, HARD!) work of early parenting really does start to 'pay off.'<br /><br />My children are now 13, 9 & 5 and it is back to that earlier image of a wonderful life. Our little family of 5 humans (plus a dog and 3 cats) is just the size it needs to be and we are blessed by it. <br /><br />Early parenting IS hard work. Just hang in there.
